内容提要：
Strong cohesion is essential for logical and effective writing. This presentation / workshop explores the use of a broad range of cohesive devices, including linking adverbials, participle phrases, signalling nouns, and synonyms/antonyms, to help create both logical and thematic cohesion in writing. The presentation combines lecture, exercises, and discussions to help participants gain a sound theoretical and practical understanding of the appropriate and effective use of cohesive devices for successful writing.
